Quite a lot of text for a “small synopsis” don’t you think? Also, if you look at the original review here: http://www.horrortalk.com/reviews/139-aswang.html you’ll find that rather than copying the synopsis (which was written by me as well) you’ve actually copied the section marked “Review”.

Just thought you should know. All the partying, being awesome, and taking pictures of yourself with your middle finger up must be clouding your fluffy little head and making you remember things differently.

Don’t know what your beef is with HNN, and I don’t care, you seem to have an axe to grind with the guy that runs it. You still don’t mind listing being a HNN writer in your various profiles though, so I guess you’ve kissed an made up recently.

Anyway, just thought I’d put my side of the story forward rather than you make up stories to cover your thievery. Saddest thing is, if you’d just asked if you could reproduce my work, I would have agreed so long as it was credited.

this coming from the guy who said Fango was scared of your site stealing their thunder. Don’t even try to deny making that statement since you sent that email to the entire writing staff of your site and some of us saved the email. You also emailed Rebekah when she told you she was writing for this site to ask her to come back after she quit and that you have been checking ScreamTVs traffic rate and that it was very low. Why do you spend so much time checking other websites traffic? You also sent everyone emails saying you were going to make sure she does not have a career in this field. Looks like you failed since she has just been named Scream Queen of the Month and been active in film. As for some of these people commenting, Rebekah has had a lot to say about all this rubbish on her own blog and it’s quite a read. Especially about the guy claiming she ripped off his Aswang review, she never even wrote a review for Aswang, her partner writer and her made a list of films to see before you die. She listed a small synopsis of the film and that was it. As for being friends with Chris Alexander, that is a complete and utter lie. Rebekah is actually friends with a lot of writers for that magazine and even visits them in New York. They all laugh at your website. John Torrani laughs at your website. You can keep lying all you want. Nothing is changing the fact that her career is getting bigger and bigger and she doesn’t really care at all about this post.

Though I’d check on this to see if there was any follow up. Yes, we counted 70 reviews now that contain “borrowed” material, contributed by this writer. Which is unfortunate, as those are all films that will have to be re-written now by other writers. The evidence was actually mailed to me in detail with the sources, so that was good enough reason for me. Drake not sure what the comments are referring to? We get enough “good comments” to balance the occasional negative ones (we also retired our old site 2 years ago) – we are friends with Fangorias editor Chris – so I doubt there is any truth to that. Regardless – this issue is about the stolen content which 2 sites agree is legit. Iwe had to paste the evidence this page would scroll for a mile.

Drake, in a recent article published on ScreamTV and credited to Herzberg, my 2004 review of Aswang was reproduced word for word with no credit given to me or my site. No permission was ever sought by Herzberg to reproduce the work. A number of other webmasters also found themselves in the same position. How much more clear does it need to be made? You can’t see the articles posted on ScreamTV, because they did the decent thing and took them down.

Where is the proof that this person ‘stole’ articles from other writers and what other websites has she ‘posed’ as a writer? I think this is something that should be made clear. Especially since horrornews.net is the most unprofessional website out there. Love how fangoria ripped your hilarious layout to shreads

We’ve been recently made aware of this ourselves. Because of it, we’ve had to remove 58 film reviews authored by Rebekah. I already have my staff in process of re-review, though it should be made aware to other horror sites about Rebekahs deceit. She also caused a major news reporting controverys trail a few years back from Fangoria – in which she had been stealing news stories and posing as her own (on our site) – I has come to our attention she has been using sites to promote her name while posing as a reporter (in the horror industry) – Hopefully this news will find its way so another site doesn’t have to suffer. I was gonna warn you but then I saw this memo – take care
